Fictional Story: Thanksgiving Plans 11/20/12

Gary Barnes is from Toledo, Ohio and always travel to Nashville, TN to visit his Aunt Martha and Uncle Larry. He has 6 cousins who also lives in Nashville. Gary always goes to Nashville every Thanksgiving and stays there 2 weeks and visit his family. Gary always spends time with his mom's sister Martha and always see's his girlfriend of 5 years Audrey Gibson who also lives in Nashville. Gary calls his girlfriend Audrey and they chat with each other. Gary and Audrey usually talk about what they are going to do for Thanksgiving.

The phone rings and Audrey answers it.

Audrey: "Hello."

Gary: "Hi Audrey this is your boyfriend Gary. How are you doing?"

Audrey: "I am doing good and you?"

Gary: "I'm doing alright. I was wondering what are you plan on doing for Thanksgiving?"

Audrey: "I will probably watch Fried Green Tomatoes with my little sister. How about you, do you have anything planned for Thanksgiving this year?"

Gary: "I will be visiting my aunt and uncle in Nashville and I will probably watch Home Alone with my cousins."

Audrey: "Sounds cool maybe we can hook up since my parents known your aunt and uncle."

Gary: "Ain't that's cool how we all met each other and it's been 5 years since we have been in a relationship. Time sure goes by fast beautiful!"

Audrey: "Time sure goes by fast, we always talk and hang out and I always enjoy our conversations. You always seem to surprise me on my birthday every time you visit."

Gary: "I always enjoy surprising my beautiful blond hair and blue eyes girlfriend. I know that you have a birthday coming up and trust me this surprise that I have for you, you will truly be in awe!"

Audrey: "Awww you're so romantic sweetheart, I know whatever it is I will love it. Come to think about it I love all of your surprises."

Gary had just gotten off the phone after they said "good-bye" and "see you soon" to each other. Excited about planning on proposing to Audrey, Gary went to a beautiful jewelry store in Toledo and purchased a beautiful engagement ring. Gary decided to go to the bus station and get him a round trip bus ticket from Ohio to Nashville. When Gary arrived at the bus station in Nashville he called his aunt and uncle to come pick him up. Gary's aunt and uncle came and picked him up and they greeted him.

They said, "Gary you got tall! How tall are you?"

Gary replied, "I'm 6' 2".

Gary asked, "Aunt Martha do you still make your famous green bean casserole?"

Martha replied, "Definitely!"

Larry said, "And she made your favorite peanut butter chocolate chip cookies too."

Martha noticed that Gary had a beautiful engagement ring. Martha asks, "I noticed that you have an engagement ring are you planning on proposing to Audrey?"

Gary responded, "Yes, she is the one and I want to spend the rest of my life with her Aunt Martha."

Martha responded, "Awww that's sweet."

Larry said, "I'm so proud of you Gary!"

Gary answered, "Thanks y'all!"

Gary and his aunt and uncle all drove back to his aunt and uncle's house and Gary met his cousins, who already got Home Alone in the DVD player. The dogs greeted Gary too. The border collie and scottish terrier and Gary were playing. Gary's cousins all seem to enjoy when Kevin is beating up Marv and Harry in Home Alone.

Gary calls his girlfriend up on the phone. Gary says, "Hi Audrey."

Audrey responds, "Hi Gary, so how is everything going with you and your family?"

Gary answers, "Well, I am enjoying spending time with my family and me and my cousins are enjoying watching Kevin beat the crap out of Marv and Harry in Home Alone. So how's everything going with you?"

Audrey says, "Home Alone is funny, lol. Well my sister and I are watching Fried Green Tomatoes and we always seem to enjoy the parking lot scene when Kathy Bates as Towanda is crashing into the young ladies car for deliberately taking her spot at the Winn Dixie. That scene is hilarious!"

Gary responded, "That is hilarious! Well, I have a surprise for you and I know that your birthday is in 2 days but I was wondering if it is alright with you if I can come over to give it to you?"

Audrey replied, "You know what my mom and dad was planning on coming over to see your aunt and uncle so you can give me the surprise when I come over there sweetheart!"

Gary answered by saying, "Cool."

Audrey and her parents drove over to Gary and his aunt and uncle's house. Gary hugs his beautiful girlfriend Audrey. Gary and his family and Audrey and her family all have lunch together. After dessert Gary decided to talk with Audrey outside.

Gary says, "Audrey you know we always see each other whenever I'm in town and I always enjoy hanging out with you and we always have fun together."

Audrey responds, "Yes!"

Gary responded by saying, "I told you that I had a surprise for you when I was in Toledo."

Audrey replies, "Right!"

Gary answered, "Your parents and my aunt and uncle are really tight and me and you became really tight when we met each other 5 years ago."

Audrey responds, "Yes!"

Gary said, "I'm not going to beat around the bush any longer." Gary got down on one knee and said "Audrey, what I'm saying is I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you beautiful! Audrey will you marry me and make me the happiest guy?"

Audrey blushed and said, "Wow, when you told me that you had a surprise you was not kidding. You know how much I love your surprises and I love how romantic you are. Of course I will marry you sweetheart!"

Audrey and Gary is now engaged and they are planning on getting married in June of 2013. Gary at age 24 and fiancee' Audrey 23, will be 24 in 2 days. The two love birds will spend Thanksgiving planning their wedding. Gary is planning on moving from Toledo to Nashville in 2013.

Fictional Story: Ken & Dorothy 8/20/13 the first time they met at a post office

Approximately 20 years ago, Ken Harrington at age 47 was working at the Post Office in Wilmington, DE. Ken was working there for about 5 years but always wanted to move South since he was 13 years old. Ken's parents loved Delaware and never moved from there. Ken have lived in Wilmington all of his life, 27 years to be exact. One day Ken decided to check out jobs out of state in the following states: Georgia, Virginia, and North Carolina. Ken at 27 saw himself moving to Georgia, so he decided to pack up and move to Augusta, GA.

Meanwhile, Ken found him a job working at the Augusta Post Office. Well, a beautiful brunette hair and beautiful green eyes woman by the name of Dorothy Monroe 47, who also 27 at the time came in the Post Office to mail off her package. She needed some stamps and bought some. It all happened while Dorothy was paying for her package to be mailed off. Dorothy and Ken had a conversation. Everything went very well as they hit it off when they started chatting.

Ken: Hi, how are you doing?

Dorothy: Great hun, I'm just mailing off this package to my sister and her hubby who lives in Delaware.

Ken: Wow, I just moved from Wilmington, DE to Augusta!

Dorothy: So what brings you to Augusta, hun?

Ken: I got tired of Delaware I have been there all of my life and I felt that it was time for a change and decided to move South. I worked at the Post Office in Wilmington for 5 years.

Dorothy: Wow that's great! What's ur name?

Ken: I'm Ken, What's your name beautiful?

Dorothy: It's Dorothy, it was really nice meeting you here Ken. Call me sometime. (Dorothy gives Ken her phone number)

When people normally meet in the Post office, it's usually just small talk but what made it so priceless was that very moment when Dorothy had given Ken her phone number. Dorothy liked Ken from then on after they chatted. Ken felt the same way about Dorothy. Ken and Dorothy kept in touch and a couple of months later, Ken invited Dorothy over for dinner one night. Ken and Dorothy enjoyed good home cooked food. Macaroni and cheese, collard greens, barbecue ribs, home made biscuits, sweet tea, and for dessert marble pound cake. That's some seriously good grub! Two years later, Ken and Dorothy got married. Mr. & Mrs. Ken Harrington have been married for 18 years now. Mr. & Mrs. Ken Harrington have 3 beautiful children 2 boys and a girl. The post office will always be Ken and Dorothy's "where they first met" place.

Fictional Story: Wayne Carpentin The Truck Driver 1/30/18

Wayne Carpentin 58 has been driving trucks for approximately 35 years now. Wayne used to work as a school janitor in a high school in Chattanooga, TN. Wayne worked there for about 4 years (from the time he was 20-24). Wayne met his beautiful wife Agnes Cooper Carpetin 63 at the same high school that Wayne graduated from. Wayne's wife was a high school teacher, Wayne never had her for a teacher which could have been interesting if that was the case, lol. Anyway, when Wayne would clean the floors, Agnes was admired how hardworking that Wayne was and Agnes feelings grew for Wayne. Agnes said that Wayne reminded Agnes of the TV commercial Mr. Clean the way that Wayne would have the floors looking spotless. Wayne admired how Agnes would always dress professionally, how her desk was always neat, and how well-organized Agnes was. 💖💒

Meanwhile, speaking of memory lane, Wayne had a high school diploma at the same high school that his wife taught at. Agnes was teaching there for 5 years before she met Wayne. Agnes and Wayne met each other when Wayne was 21 and Agnes was 26. Wayne had did a year of Community College and decided that he would go to school to be a truck driver to earn a lot of income. Wayne's wife always makes Wayne's favorite food and she always packs a big lunch for Wayne to take with him to work on his long drives to work. Wayne drives to the following neighboring states: Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Mississippi. Agnes makes the following food for Wayne: Delicious Brisket, Barbecue ribs, 4 Cheese Macaroni & Cheese, Cornbread, Collard greens, Potato salad, Cole slaw, Apple pie, Sweet tea, etc. All of the other male truck drivers kind of envy Wayne because Wayne's buddies wives' don't do the cooking for them as much. Sometimes Wayne will do deliveries in Alabama and Kentucky. Wayne work schedule usually ranges from 12 hours or more a day. Wayne gets paid more money when he travels farther. Wayne & Agnes Carpentin have been married 35 years and they have 5 children (3 girls and 2 boys). Truck driving is not most people's dream career job but Wayne enjoys it because he supports his wife and their kids. Even if this story is not much to brag about this story is just as priceless as all of the other happy life stories.

Fictional Story: What do you want to be when you grow up? 4/3/17

 There was a little boy who had a dream to be a famous writer. He started writing journals when he was 11 and every day, he would write cool adventurous stuff he would do. One day he rode his bike to the park and decided to meet some friends who literally did the same thing he did. Every one of the boys were talking about what they wanted to do when they grow up. One of his friends said he wanted to be a police officer, the other friend said he wanted to be a fireman, and the other friend said he wanted to be a stunt man. In shock the boys asked him, "Why do you want to be a stunt man?" The little boy said, "It's sounds cool because I see everyone on TV doing daredevil stunts."

The little boy, who wanted to be a famous writer decided to write a story about a stunt man who was flying through a flaming ring of fire. The man came out with injuries of course because he was really risking his life. The boy decided to read his short story to the boy who wanted to be a stunt man when they met up again. The boy felt discouraged about wanting to be a stunt man because that story hit home before he could ever have a chance to attempt to try out stunts. The lesson that the boys learned was that no matter what we want to do in life there will always be a story behind it. Sure, being a stunt man sounds cool but those guys that do daredevil stunts have many years of practice and have been through injuries like how the boy who wanted to be a writer wrote. We want the story of our life to be worthwhile that everyone can read about.

Fictional Story: Guarding Gertrude Dawson 1/14/20

 

Gertrude Dawson 83 is an elderly woman from Portland OR have been constantly watched since Ms. Dawson was 75 because her family and friends worry about her safety whenever she is alone. Ms. Dawson was “sharp as a whip” and shows signs at times of that strong-willed woman when she is around people. However, since Ms. Dawson late husband Fred Dawson passed away 8 years ago, Ms. Dawson go through her changes. It’s common when someone whose spouse pass away to act a little strange. Ms. Dawson have nightmares where she wakes up screaming and ready to confront the people who she thinks kidnapped her and gagged her while they robbed her. The poor woman misses her husband that she can’t help but to think that Mr. Dawson will help her and fight off the kidnappers while Ms. Dawson hit them over the head with a vase, lamp, or a stick.

Meanwhile, Ms. Dawson’s son Billy Dawson, his wife Cheryl Dawson, and their 3 children is constantly watching Ms. Dawson because Ms. Dawson is known for going missing. One of the scariest moments happened when one day Ms. Dawson woke up 3 o’clock in the wee hours of the morning while her son, daughter-in-law, and her grandchildren were sound asleep, Ms. Dawson left home. Ms. Dawson was kidnapped and wound up in a crack house with a bunch of crackheads.

Pearl Court Apartments in Portland, OR. Not a place for an elderly woman who have been kidnapped should be. Crackheads live there.

Ms. Dawson’s son, daughter-in-law, and her grandchildren along with some friends of the family came to the crack house and got Ms. Dawson. Ms. Dawson’s family was able to see everything on their cellphone from the moment she left home up until Ms. Dawson got kidnapped. The Dawson family decided to take “drastic measures” for Ms. Dawson safety so Ms. Dawson wouldn’t go missing like that ever again. 

Billy and Cheryl from a mutual friend got the number of a Geriatric Psychiatrist by the name of Monica Stacker 58 in Portland, who have been dealing with patients like Ms. Dawson all the time. For the past 7 years, Ms. Stacker have been helping keep Ms. Dawson sane. Ms. Stacker encourages Ms. Dawson that everything is normal, and that Ms. Dawson is normal. Ms. Stacker always instill in Ms. Dawson when she helps treat Ms. Dawson of her schizophrenic episodes is that it’s all a mental thing and that Ms. Dawson is as “sharp as a whip.” Ms. Stacker helps calm Ms. Dawson down and Ms. Dawson is quiet and happy every time.
